Available in two versions for BWA: AS3030 IP only (PtP +PMP) and AS3030 IP +TDM (PtP)

The AS3030 IP only is a high-performance, high-speed wireless Ethernet bridge that provides a scalable platform for the deployment of multi-services over a common equipment infrastructure and management system. The AS3030 System can operate in a Point-To-Point (PtP) or Point-To-Multipoint (PMP) mode depending on the software configuration.

The AS3030 IP + TDM is a high-performance, high-speed PtP wireless TDM transport and Ethernet bridge terminal providing a scalable multi-service platform from a common equipment infrastructure and management system. The AS3030 system is a Class A digital device for use in a commercial, industrial or business environment.

The AS3030 PtP can be equipped to provide over 50 miles (80 km) in line of sight (LOS) conditions, and up to 6 miles (10 km) in NLOS conditions. The AS3030 PMP using wide beam antennas can operate at over 15 miles (24 km), depending on power limits mandated by regional regulation.

The AS3030 system operates in the 5.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz band and includes advanced technologies to address inter-cell interference. The AS3030 can be equipped with a narrow beam antenna to provide high directivity for long-range operations in clear line of sight (LOS) conditions. The system also delivers enhanced security through a proprietary over-the-air encryption scheme.

The equipment is equipped with dynamic frequency selection (DFS) to detect interference from other devices using the same frequency and automatically take a pre-selected action, such as disable transmission or relocate transmission to alternative frequency.
